Well, it has been a whole year since baby B was born!
It has been amazing to see how he has grown and changed. He learns new things each day. It’s exciting and cool and scary.
He knows how to pull himself to standing now. He knows that if he throws food on the floor it gets his mom to pay attention to him. He knows how to stack blocks and nest cups of different sizes.
He sort of knew what to do with a piece of chocolate cake.
The first year has been so tough and so rewarding. Being a mom is such a blessing.
Here’s a few pictures from year 1. He looks like such a baby in some of them! Now, he is so rapidly turning into a little boy.
Happy Belated Birthday, Baby B! Sorry this is so late too; I haven’t been online so much during our relocation. In good news we are back in town and will look forward to seeing you soon! 1 is such a milestone! (for the parents just as much s the babies I think!) x x

Happy Birthday to Baby B! Those are some very adorable pictures of him. And you’re entering some great territory — my absolute favorite part of having a baby was when he started learning to talk. It was so much fun to experience the world with him!
I can’t wait for him to learn to talk – both just to hear what he comes up with and also for practical reasons like knowing if he’s thirsty without seeing how he reacts to a cup of water.
But also, I try to appreciate the good things about each phase we go through and right now it’s really king of nice having a person whose opinions I don’t have to listen to. Of course, there are still times he makes his opinions quite clear!
